Lynx Labs ("we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains our commitment to zero-telemetry and how your data is handled when you use the Daemon application and our website (daemon-companion.vercel.app).

1. Zero Telemetry & No Tracking

Daemon operates strictly on your local device and private local network:

• We do not collect, track, store, or sell any personal data, source code, project filenames, or terminal keystrokes.
• Daemon does not contain third-party ad networks, tracking SDKs, or analytics services.

2. Local Network Communication

When Daemon displays live dev-server previews (such as Vite or Next.js servers), communication flows directly between your mobile device and your laptop/desktop over your private local Wi-Fi router (LAN). No web server preview data is ever transmitted to external cloud servers.

3. Device Permissions

Daemon requires specific Android system permissions to operate:

• System Alert Window (Display over other apps): Necessary solely to float the companion sprite and preview window over your screen.
• Foreground Service & Notifications: Required to keep the background watchdog connection active while your screen is locked.
• Internet: Required to validate your purchase license key with our payment partner (Dodo Payments) and receive webhook alerts.

4. Payments & Billing Information

All payments for Daemon are securely processed by our Merchant of Record, Dodo Payments. We do not store, view, or process your credit card numbers or financial credentials. Billing inquiries and tax receipts are handled securely through Dodo Payments.
